2017 Campaign

Black women's hair for far too long has been marginalised and stigmatised in society, often placed within the boundaries of unruly, difficult, ugly, unmanageable and wild.

Lack of positive representation meant black women and girls are starved of positive representation of their hair and by extension their beauty.

Our goal?

To break those boundaries and show Afro textured hair as beautiful and desirable.

The whole dream became a reality with a very successful campaign which Championing diversity in beauty was widely accepted. We had our first billboard erected on the streets of London and the press was very receptive.
